Termites Control

Termites are silent destroyers that feed on wood, flooring, and even paper—causing irreversible structural damage before you even notice they’re there. At Tirumala Pest Control, we offer expert Bayer-certified termite treatments that are safe, odourless, and highly effective for both pre-construction and post-construction environments.

Our trained technicians use advanced drill-fill-seal techniques, soil treatment, and direct wood injections to eliminate colonies from the source. With guaranteed safety and no lingering smell, our solutions are ideal for homes, apartments, offices, and commercial properties.

How to Tell If You Have a Termite Infestation

Termites work silently and often go undetected until serious damage is done. Watch out for these signs to catch an infestation early:

1. Mud Tubes on Walls or Foundations

Termites build pencil-thin mud tubes to protect themselves while they travel between their colony and food source. These are commonly found on walls, baseboards, or near foundations.

2. Hollow or Damaged Wood

Tap on wooden surfaces like doors, frames, or furniture. If it sounds hollow or breaks easily, termites may have eaten the inside while leaving the outer layer intact.

3. Discarded Wings

After swarming, reproductive termites shed their wings. Finding piles of tiny, equal-sized wings near windowsills or doors is a strong sign of termite presence.

4. Frass (Termite Droppings)

Drywood termites leave behind tiny, wood-coloured pellets as droppings. These may accumulate beneath wooden furniture, along windows, or on the floor.

5. Peeling Paint or Bubbling Surfaces

Moisture from termite activity can cause paint to bubble or peel—often mistaken for water damage. Always inspect further if you see this happening without a clear water source.

6. Tight-Fitting Doors and Windows

As termites eat through wooden frames, they can cause them to warp—making doors and windows harder to open or close properly.

Why Early Treatment is Crucial

A small colony can cause significant damage in just a few months. Left untreated, termites can compromise the structure of your home or office, leading to expensive repairs. Since termite damage isn’t typically covered by insurance, early detection and professional treatment are your best defense.
